Rise Above Research has announced a slate of new photo/imaging marketing research reports.
- 2023 US Photo Merchandise Study – The annual US consumer study that focuses on the photo merchandise market, specifically photo cards, photo books, photo calendars, and photo wall/tabletop décor. For 2023, Rise Above Research asked some new questions on photo apparel as well, which replaced questions on drinkware in last year’s study. A total of 1,237 respondents between the ages of 13-79 participated in the study and provided details on buying behaviors for each of the product areas, future buying expectations and spending plans, and insight into how inflation and the challenging economic situation have impacted buying habits. Respondents were also asked about buying non-photo personalized products as well as buying from pro photographers and schools, and there were new answer options on using AI-generated content as well as photo book subscription services.
- Photo Tile Buying Habits & Spending – This report examines the buying behavior of consumers who have purchased photo tile products, with questions on spending, devices used to create and order, and future purchase intentions, with the data taken from the 2022 US Photo Merchandise Study. Buyers of this report will also be provided the results of the photo tile questions from our 2023 study that was just published, so that year-over-year answers can be compared.
- 2023 US Photo Prints Forecast – The annual US Photo Prints Forecast is a five-year forecast for traditional photo prints, broken out by home, online, and retail store printing for volume (4” x 6” equivalent) and revenue. The forecast includes a written report as well as PowerPoint charts and an Excel spreadsheet, which covers overall market drivers and barriers, forecast methodology and key recommendations. The 2023 US Photo Printing Study is also still available, which was published in June 2023.
Rise Above Research will have annual road maps coming out in early 2024, as well as new analysis reports on interesting topics in the photo output side of the market.
